Looking Back by Girl on Top, Emma Hoppe

At times I still have to remind myself of what we did. Some days it seems like it never happened & others I have a flashback of just one of the many amazing moments... the broad smile on a mountain child's face playing with bubbles, the deafening roar of an avalanche, the taste of popcorn & hot chocolate at camp after a long, tough day of walking, the soft caress of a monkey going through my hair, the breathlessness & tightness in my chest from altitude, the grandeur of the mountains & the wonderland of the butterfly enclosure.

But this is not all there is to remember of the journey of Girls on Top.

Girls on Top is a journey of adventure & exploration from the day you join. An exploration into yourself and others. 

It's an adventure of will, strength, determination, dedication, commitment & faith.  It's a physical & mental challenge. It pushes your boundaries & at times your patience! It is about approaching, meeting & working with inspiring people you may not come across in your day-to-day life. It's about team work & time management!  It's about following your beliefs, visions & dreams. Its about using your skills & those of people around you to raise awareness & support for a worthy cause.
